Job Description
- Assist in the design, development, and execution of performance test scripts using tools like JMeter.
- Support the team in creating and executing performance test scenarios (Load, Stress, and Volume tests).
- Learn to analyze performance test results and contribute to performance optimization recommendations.
- Participate in test planning, environment setup, and monitoring activities under senior team members’ guidance.
- Gain exposure to APM tools such as Elastic APM, Grafana, or Datadog to monitor and analyze application performance.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and operations teams to understand performance requirements and simulate real-world loads.
- Learn and assist in identifying performance bottlenecks, memory issues, and scalability problems.
- Support in documenting test results, preparing reports, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Should be able to do Functional Testing and writing test cases.
Eligibility
- Performance Testing Tools: JMeter (hands-on practice during training).
- Cloud & Infrastructure Basics: Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Apache Tomcat.
- Databases: Basic understanding of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
- Monitoring & Profiling: Awareness of Elastic APM, JVM profiling, and system resource monitoring.
- Programming/Scripting: Basic knowledge of Java, Python, or Shell scripting.
- Automation Testing (Good to Have): Selenium with Java, TestNG, Rest Assured, Postman, or API Testing.
- Other Tools: Exposure to Jira, Confluence, and version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, GitLab).
- Additional Advantage: Understanding of Salesforce and its ecosystem.
