Job Description
- Evaluate derivatives and financing transactions across Global Market clients, reviewing and approving risk taking across this sector
- Perform counterparty reviews, including recommending appropriate internal risk rating for each counterparty and setting credit limits
- Assess the credit and financial strength of the firm’s hedge fund, mutual fund and private equity fund counterparts by performing fundamental credit analysis of counterparties using both quantitative and qualitative factorsGives evidence of being a strong team player, collaborates with others within and across teams
- Assess risk of transactions through reviews of quantitative models, portfolio analysis, stress testing, and other methods
Eligibility
- 0-2 years of experience in a finance or risk roleThinks ahead, anticipates questions, plans for contingencies, finds alternative solutions and identifies clear objectives. Sees the big picture and effectively analyzes complex issues
- Knowledge of capital markets, including derivatives and/or repo product preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills required
- Bachelor’s degree in business or finance preferred
- Communicates in a clear and concise manner, shares information/new ideas with peer group and team, while demonstrating judgment to escalate as appropriate
