Job Description:
- Assist in the investigation and resolving complex accounting issues timely and effectively
- Prepare journal entries for monthly close process
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and submit for review of the same.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (tax, treasury, corporate accounting) to identify opportunities to improve and standardize processes and contribute towards close optimization
- Perform analytical reviews of PL and BS accounts having variances
- Participate in month-end close by performing a variety of accounting close tasks
- Ensure compliance with Company accounting policies and the application of generally accepted accounting principles
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where limited procedures currently exist
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned
- Assist in financial analysis for day-to-day operations
- Assist with continuous process improvements and development of automated systems

Eligibility and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- A professional qualification such as CA/CPA/CMA would be an advantage
- Ability to work effectively across time zones/geographies with key stakeholders. Experience of working in a matrix organization would be an advantage
