Job Description
- Understand business and technical requirements under guidance
- Assist in creating and executing test scenarios and test cases
- Perform manual testing including functional, UI/UX, regression, and integration testing
- Execute smoke and sanity testing for new builds and releases
- Support automation testing by running and maintaining basic test scripts
- Perform basic API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger (training provided)
- Identify, log, and track defects using defect tracking tools such as Jira
- Re-test defects after fixes and validate expected behavior
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MCA, IT, or a related field
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC
- Knowledge of manual testing techniques and test case writing
- Basic familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira or similar)
- Awareness of web and mobile application architecture and terminology
- Understanding of browser and device compatibility issues
- Basic knowledge of API testing and database concepts (SQL basics preferred)
