Selection and Interview Process at WNS
The interview process at WNS typically comprises three rounds, starting with a Aptitude, technical assessment, proceeding to a HR interview for applicable roles.
1. Application/ Screening: You may apply online through the WNS careers portal, via a recruitment consultant, or attend a walk-in drive. After applying, a recruiter conducts an initial screening call to understand your background, interest in the role, and overall fit.
2. Assessment/ Aptitude Test: Many candidates mention that an aptitude test covering reasoning, math, and English is commonly conducted for Process Associate or junior Associate roles. The difficulty level of this test is generally reported as simple to moderate. For roles involving data entry or back-office tasks, a typing test may also be included in the assessment.
3. HR Interview: There is typically an HR round in which interviewers ask about your background, reasons for wanting to join WNS, career goals, and sometimes your willingness to work in different shifts.
4. Operational/ Technical Round: For process-based roles, candidates may face a one-on-one or panel interview with operations managers, where interviewers often ask scenario-based questions such as how you would handle difficult customers or respond to specific process situations. For finance or F&A associate positions, the discussion may include domain-focused questions related to accounting principles, financial processes, or data analysis.
5. Final Round: Some candidates report a final managerial or operations lead round, during which the hiring decision is often made and, in many cases, the job offer is extended.
6. Offer: After successfully clearing all interview rounds, you may receive an offer. For freshers or specific roles, a walk-in offer process may be conducted. For full-time positions, candidates typically proceed with signing the offer letter, submitting required documents, and completing background verification and other formalities.
