TCS and Infosys Work From Home Continues Plans to Hire More 90,000 Freshers. Infosys’ employment loss rate rose from 25.5% in March 2022 to 27.7%. According to Nilanjan Roy, Infosys’ CFO, there was a drop of around 5 percent in the attrition rate and the total head count for the third quarter.
CNN-News18 reports that Infosys and TCS recruited 61,000 freshers on campus in FY 2021 into major IT firms. In 2022, TCS, along with Infosys, hired 1,000,000 and 85,000 freshers, respectively.
Moreover, Infosys is reportedly planning to hire more than 50,000 more freshers in FY 2023. At the same time, TCS is planning to recruit more than 40,000 people.

Plans to Hire More 90,000 Freshers
“We hired 85,000 freshers across India and globally in the last financial year and this year we are planning to hire at least 50,000 freshers”, said Nilanjan Roy.
Tata Consultancy Services, on the other hand, stated that the pace of hiring will remain the same as it was last year. TCS Chief Operating Officer NG Subramaniam said that the company is planning to recruit 40,000 people this year and if needed, more people will also be recruited.
The 25X25 model has been used in the company Tata Consultancy Services, and the hot desk was implemented. The goal of model 25X25 is to return people to work and slowly change to a hybrid work model.
The company’s employees will have to spend only 25 percent of their time in the office if they have to go to the office through the hybrid model.
Many companies in India and abroad are exploring this hybrid work culture model in which employees of the company will need to work from the office only for a few days in the week and from home on others.
On the other hand, HCL reported the company would remain in a hybrid model since employees’ safety and well-being are the business’s primary concerns.
At the same time, the IT firm Infosys has stated that the back office will be open in a planned fashion. But here, also the work will be done in hybrid mode.
