Job Description:
- Provide in depth support to Ellucian clients and employees in troubleshooting and resolving issues
- Document issues and solutions within Ellucian’s tracking system and follow issue progress through resolution
- Develop effective working relationships with other Ellucian staff
- Work closely with other Ellucian Action Line team members to deliver outstanding support for clients
- Work both independently as needed and as an active, contributing member of a team.
- Actively contribute and work to continually improve customer self-help through the publication of technically and functionally accurate knowledge base articles
- Manage cases efficiently and effectively using Ellucian’s case-tracking system, keeping customers updated on progress through resolution.
- Liaise with other Ellucian technical teams (Development, Cloud Hosting, Professional Services).
- Cover assigned rotation as an on-call as well as working in first or Second shift on rotation based on Business need ( 6 A.M. IST to 2:30 PM IST or 2:00 PM to 10:30 P.M. IST)
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Strong customer service orientation and experience with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical , troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to debug SQL queries, PL/SQL package/procedures
- Ability to take initiative and follow through on commitments made to clients
- Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS and Oracle Weblogic Application Server products
- Experience working with Windows and Unix operating systems
- Ability to write simple programs and scripts for use in debugging issues
