Job Description
- Work with colleagues in Mumbai and across regional locations to prepare marketing materials including company profiles, public information brochures, bulletins, benchmarking analysis, pricing updates, earning summaries, treasury pitching materials, credit analysis and competitor analysis. Also support colleagues across geographies on execution projects
- Understand and learn to analyze a company’s financial statements.
- Set up trading and transaction comparables, valuation models and financial metric benchmarking for companies
- Source and interpret company / industry information from a variety of data sources (company reports, Internet, online databases, J.P. Morgan proprietary content). Learn to develop views on specific industries and start tracking them for developments / potential opportunities / new client prospecting
Eligibility
- Under-graduate degree from a top tier institution with excellent academic record and a strong interest in making a career in finance
- Ensure the highest ethical standards and regulatory compliance within the firm
- Strong communication skills (written as well as verbal) and an ability to precisely articulate thoughts
- Close attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality output under pressure. Ability to efficiently multi-task and handle multiple deliverables / projects
- Strong analytical bent of mind and quantitative skills
- Awareness of banking solutions and services as well as knowledge of analyzing company financials and financial modeling skills in MS Office applications are a plus
