Enterpret Recruitment Hiring Graduates
Job Description
- Join our system design discussions: sit in on internal design and implementation conversations and contribute your ideas.
- Take ideas from concept to production: build real solutions with guidance, not just closing tickets off a backlog.
- Develop on serverless architectures using AWS, building scalable backend components that stand up to real-world use.
- Help build proof-of-concepts for new backend + AI feature integrations, from model output to real-time inference.
- Work closely with the engineers building our AI-native platform and learn how backend architecture supports AI features end to end.
Eligibility
- Onsite in Bangalore is a must-have: you’re able and willing to work from our Bangalore office in person.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a Tier 1 college.
- Strong programming fundamentals in any modern language.
- At least one prior internship in a relevant engineering or backend/AI role.
- Genuine interest in distributed systems, serverless computing, and AI-powered product features.
- Sharp problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills, and an eagerness to learn how backend architecture supports AI from model training to real-time inference.
- Bonus: open-source contributions or backend/AI project experience.

Selection and Interview Process at Enterpret
The interview process at Enterpret typically comprises three to four rounds, starting with a Phone screening or aptitude assessment, then technical round, proceeding to a HR interview for applicable roles.
1. Resume Screening / Recruiter Discussion: The process generally begins with resume screening and an initial recruiter or hiring-team discussion. They may ask about your education, previous internship experience, programming skills, projects, preferred technical areas, and interest in Enterpret. For the current backend internship, Enterpret specifically looks for strong programming fundamentals, prior relevant internship experience, problem-solving ability, and interest in distributed systems, serverless computing, and AI-powered products.
2. DSA / Coding Round: A technical coding round is likely to focus on data structures, algorithms, problem-solving, and coding fundamentals. Topics worth preparing include arrays, strings, hash maps, linked lists, stacks and queues, trees, graphs, recursion, sorting/searching, and complexity analysis. Enterpret’s reported Software Engineer interview included a DSA round before machine coding.
3. Machine Coding / Practical Coding Round: This round evaluates how well you can translate requirements into working, maintainable code. You may be given a small system or programming problem and asked to implement it while explaining your design decisions. A reported Enterpret Software Engineer interview used an LFU Cache problem for machine coding.
4. Project / Backend Technical Discussion: The interviewer may discuss your previous projects or internship experience in depth. Since the current role involves AWS serverless architecture, scalable backend components, real-time inference, AI integrations, and system-design discussions, be prepared to explain one or two projects end-to-end—your architecture, technology choices, challenges, bugs, scalability considerations, and what you personally implemented.
5. System Design / Backend Fundamentals: For this particular internship, basic system-design thinking can be important because Enterpret’s backend team works with distributed systems, serverless infrastructure, AWS, and large-scale data. You could encounter questions around designing an API, data ingestion service, notification system, URL shortener, or simple scalable backend service.
6. HR / Final Discussion: The final discussion generally focuses on communication, motivation, teamwork, ownership, career goals, and interest in Enterpret. Typical questions could include “Tell me about yourself,” “Why Enterpret?”, “Why software/backend engineering?”, “Explain your strongest project,” “Tell me about a difficult technical problem you solved,” and “Are you comfortable working onsite in Bengaluru?” The current internship is explicitly onsite in Bengaluru and emphasizes ownership, curiosity, learning, and collaboration

- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Describe your ideal work environment.
