Selection and Interview Process at Frontier

The interview process at Frontier typically comprises three rounds, starting with a technical assessment, One-on-One round, proceeding to a Managerial or HR interview for applicable roles.

1. Initial Screening: The first stage is usually a recruiter or phone screening. You may be asked about your education, previous experience, communication skills, availability, salary expectations, and interest in Frontier. Be prepared with a short introduction and a clear explanation of why you want a customer-support role.

2. Online Assessment: Depending on the position, Frontier may use an assessment to evaluate skills relevant to the job. For a support representative position, this can involve English/verbal ability, basic reasoning, customer-service judgment, typing or computer skills, and situational questions. Frontier confirms that role-specific assessments may be part of its hiring process.

3. Customer Support Interview: The main interview is likely to concentrate on your ability to communicate professionally and deal with customers. Common questions can include “Tell me about yourself,” “Why do you want to work at Frontier?”, “How would you handle an angry customer?”, “Describe a time you solved a customer’s problem,” “How do you handle pressure?”, and “How would you manage multiple customer requests at the same time?” Frontier-related candidate reports also mention scenario-based questions

4. Situational / Role-Play Round: You may be given a customer scenario and asked to explain or demonstrate how you would respond. For example, the interviewer might act as an upset customer whose internet/service is not working, and you would need to remain calm, listen carefully, apologize appropriately, troubleshoot or identify the issue, and explain the next steps. Historical Frontier candidate reports have also mentioned phone role-playing for customer-facing roles.

5. Final HR / Hiring Manager Round: The final discussion generally evaluates your teamwork, reliability, attitude, communication, flexibility, and career goals. Questions may include “Why should we hire you?”, “What are your strengths and weaknesses?”, “Are you comfortable working in shifts?”, “How do you handle repetitive customer queries?”, and “Where do you see yourself in the next few years?”
