Job Description
- Value Addition & Cost Reduction: Identify, analyze, and implement cost reduction ideas, ensuring they deliver measurable benefits to the organization.
- Project Management: Create and manage detailed project plans, ensuring seamless coordination of multiple projects simultaneously. Proactively identify ways to advance project activities.
- Business Case Development: Analyze and evaluate ideas, preparing and presenting compelling business cases to Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams.
- Design Development: Develop concept designs related to sheet metal and plastics using advanced design methodologies and techniques.
- Design & Idea Analysis: Perform comprehensive analysis using NUDs, DFMEA, Risk Analysis, and RCA. Create and manage design verification and test plans.
- Design Reviews & Approvals: Lead and coordinate design reviews, ensuring approvals from all relevant cross-functional teams.
- Simulation & Testing: Oversee simulations and physical tests to validate ideas and design concepts, ensuring they meet required standards.
- Supplier Collaboration: Work with suppliers through the sourcing team on sample development, prototyping, tooling, and timeline management.
Eligibility
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
- Familiar with analytical and CAD software.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
