Cognizant will Hire 280000 Freshers in 2021
Cognizant Technology Solutions: The IT giant plans to hire 28,000 freshers this year. Previously the company has hired over 17,000 freshers in 2020 so there is a rise in the voluntary attrition in Quater 1 (Q1) of CY21 to 18%.
Currently, the company has a total workforce of over 2,96,500. In which more than 2 Lakh employees are from India.
The company is planning to increase its workforce with new talents in the second quarter. Around 21% of the company has an attrition rate. Based on the resignations the company is going to hire more fresh candidates.
Due to the increase in demand and competitive market for new talents. The company is going to increase investments in candidates through training, job rotations which will help in an increment of Salary, promotions to provide the skills and positions. The company also mentioned this could be achieved by focusing more on internal participation and engagement.
