Selection and Interview Process at CAI
The interview process at CAI typically comprises three to four rounds, starting with a Phone screening or aptitude assessment, then technical round, proceeding to a HR interview for applicable roles.
1. Online Assessment: This assessment typically includes basic aptitude questions, although that section can sometimes be optional, along with one or two coding problems of easy to moderate difficulty. The coding questions generally focus on fundamental topics such as arrays, strings, loops, and simple logical problem-solving.
2. Technical Interview: During this round, the focus is on fundamental programming concepts, including variables, loops, and functions, as well as basic object-oriented programming concepts such as classes, objects, and inheritance. Candidates are generally asked to solve one simple coding problem, often based on logical thinking, and may also be required to write code or explain their approach and reasoning clearly.
3. Managerial / HR Interview: This stage typically focuses on assessing your personality, communication skills, and overall fit for the organization. You can expect common questions such as asking you to introduce yourself, explain why you want to join the company, and confirm your willingness to relocate. Interviewers may also explore your experiences with teamwork or handling conflicts, while informally evaluating how clearly and confidently you communicate.
