Job Description
- Provide dedicated operational and administrative support to the Claims team
- Accurately process claim submissions, including gathering and verifying documentation
- Track and monitor open claims to ensure all requirements, deadlines, and subjectivities are met
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records in claims systems and CRMs
- Communicate professionally with clients, carriers, and internal teams to gather information, provide updates, and resolve inquiries
- Pre-draft emails for the Claims team to support faster communication workflows
- Assist with mod score analysis, loss run analysis, and analytics for monthly claims audits
- Support Work Comp-related email communication (based on experience)
- Prepare claims reports, summaries, and status updates for stakeholders
Eligibility
- Previous experience in the insurance industry (agency, brokerage, or carrier), ideally in claims operations
- Strong understanding of insurance terminology, claims processes, and documentation requirements
- Experience with insurance management systems and/or CRMs
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership in a support-focused role
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and adapt quickly to new processes
- Commercial insurance experience strongly preferred
