Job Description

  • CRM & data hygiene: Keep our CRM (HubSpot) clean — deduping records, standardizing fields, enriching account/contact data so pipeline numbers can actually be trusted.
  • Pipeline & funnel reporting: Track stage-wise conversion, drop-offs, pipeline coverage, and rep-level activity; maintain the dashboards leadership pulls up every week.
  • GTM tooling & workflow ops: Administer and configure day-to-day tools in our GTM stack (think HubSpot, Apollo.io, Clay, G2, or similar) — sequences, lead routing rules, list building, enrichment workflows.
  • Forecasting support: Assist Sales/RevOps leadership with pipeline forecasting, weekly forecast calls, and variance tracking against target.
  • Campaign & lead ops: Support Marketing with list segmentation, lead scoring, and routing leads to the right rep at the right time.

Eligibility

  • 1–1.5 years of experience in sales ops, GTM ops, or RevOps at a B2B SaaS company — or a fresh graduate (any discipline) with a track record of being sharp, structured, and fast to learn. We’re genuinely open on this; don’t self-select out if you’re early in your career.
  • Prior internship or work experience in a B2B SaaS GTM, sales, or analytics function.
  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo.io, Clay, or similar.
  • Basic SQL or scripting exposure.
  • You can look at messy data and find the story in it without being told exactly where to look.
  • You’re comfortable in spreadsheets — formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP — and reach for them naturally to answer a question.

Selection Process at Drivetrain

The interview process at Drivetrain typically involves three stages: a preliminary screening, a technical assessment, and a final HR interview (for applicable roles).

1. Resume Screening: The recruitment team reviews the candidate’s resume for analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, spreadsheet knowledge, and relevant experience in sales operations, business operations, marketing, or data analysis. Fresh graduates may also be considered.

2. HR / Recruiter Interview: This round generally evaluates communication skills, motivation, career goals, and understanding of the role.

3. Analytical or Practical Assessment: Candidates may be asked to solve a spreadsheet-based task or business problem to assess their analytical and problem-solving skills. Preparation should include Excel or Google Sheets formulas, PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data cleaning, funnel analysis, and identifying trends in business data.

4. Functional Interview: This round focuses on GTM operations, CRM management, sales pipeline reporting, forecasting, and marketing operations. Candidates should prepare for questions about HubSpot or Salesforce, lead routing, lead scoring, conversion rates, pipeline coverage, and using AI tools or automation to improve workflows. Basic SQL may also be useful. These topics align with the role’s published responsibilities.

5. Hiring Manager / Final Interview: The final discussion may assess independent thinking, ownership, adaptability, and the ability to turn data into actionable business insights. Candidates may be asked to explain a project, describe how they solved a problem using data, or suggest ways to improve a sales or marketing workflow.
