Job details
- Hands on software asset tracking & compliance reporting
- Software licensing knowledge (At least end to end knowledge on 1 of the publisher. Microsoft, Oracle, IBM Sub cap, Red hat)
- Understanding of industry standard software vendors and software contract T&C’s
- Software Audit and compliance experience
- Stakeholder & escalation management
- Ensuring all distributed entitlement data is validated by mapping entitlements data to standard product names
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Performing discrepancy closures of SW recon based on data validation and resolutions.
- Comparing software licensed information to software installed information to identify variances
- Ensuring that required information is obtained about the names the changes in vendor names and resolved,
- Identifying and initiating the required purchases/discontinuances to correct the identified variances
- Producing and distributing the contracted software license management reports
Preferred Skills
- General understanding of industry standard software vendors and software contract T&C’s
- Software tracking & software license management experience
- General understanding about software license metrics
