Infosys, Capgemini Plans to hire 1,10,000 Freshers
Infosys attrition rate has been increased as Number of employees leaving the organization. The company will be hiring more number of freshers. Capgemini’s growth is increasing and setting up labs to build solutions around emerging technologies for global customers, such as quantum, 5G, and the metaverse.

Infosys’ attrition rate reached 27.7% in the March quarter, up from 25.5% in the December quarter, but the management believed attrition actually decreased.
The Bengaluru-based IT major reported an attrition rate of 27.7% in the March quarter, up from 25.5% in the December quarter. Over 80,000 employees have resigned from the company between January-March 2022.
Infosys’ chief financial officer Nilanjan Roy told journalists at a press conference after declaring the results of the fourth quarter, “In the last year, we have hired 85,000 freshers across India and globally. We are planning to hire upwards of at least 50,000 (this year) and will see how this plays out but that it just initials figures.”

Capgemini Hiring Plans
In India, Capgemini’s growth is faster than the group’s growth in 2021. This is because the firm will manage more operations from India. In addition, the initiative will focus on developing leaders in India who can then lead teams around the world. In the remainder of the year, demand is expected to remain strong and fuel hiring.
As there are a lot of new emerging technologies like quantum, 5G, and metaverse, and there are expectations that these technologies will be huge growth drivers in the future, Capgemini is also setting up labs to build solutions around these technologies for customers around the world.
“We are globally about 355,000 employees and half of them are in India, and we continue to see good headcount growth,” Yardi told ET.
“A lot of the new generation technology skills are being incubated in India or are being built from here,” Yardi further added.
